Director, Venlo Sales
Family owned and professionally managed, Westbrook Systems is a division of the Westbrook Group of Companies. With over 60 years’ experience in commercial horticulture, we offer an extensive selection of greenhouse structures and related products, customized to the unique needs of each grower.
We are currently seeking a Director, Venlo Sales to act our in-house expert on Venlo greenhouse structures, providing product expertise to current and prospective customers. This individual is responsible for Venlo greenhouse sales across North America, working collaboratively with other Westbrook regional Sales Representatives to generate leads. This individual will also work closely with our Venlo manufacturing partner to provide detailed information to prepare quotes and our in-house mechanical design team and other business partners, to create quotes for turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and sustain relationships with our Venlo manufacturing partner in order to be the expert resource on understanding their products, and their quoting/order processes;

Prospect and contact potential customers to identify and qualify leads;

Travel to customer locations as required to understand project scope, gather information, and provide pre/post sales support;

Work collaboratively with Venlo partner to prepare timely quotations for Venlo greenhouse structures;

Work collaboratively with in-house mechanical design team and vendor partners to provide a full, turn-key solution with Venlo structure quotes;

Develop relationships with customers to secure Venlo greenhouse project sales across North America to achieve annual sales targets;

Coordinate with installers to determine pricing and scheduling requirements;

Act as primary contact for Venlo customer/builder inquiries, parts orders and project support;

Provide post-sale/project management support to ensure projects meet customer expectations;

Stay current on market trends, changes, competitor offerings, sharing findings with Sales and Leadership teams as needed;

Maintain a Prospect List and relevant data for effective project tracking and analysis;

Participate in the development of annual business plans, goals to increase customer satisfaction, sales, and margin;

Work collaboratively with Marketing to develop sales support collateral (brochures, catalogues, flyers, advertising, social media, etc.);

Attend industry conferences and events to promote Westbrook products, identify new leads and monitor industry/market trends and competitor offerings;
Qualifications

Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience;

Minimum 8 years’ greenhouse industry-related experience (greenhouse structural systems, heating and mechanical systems, greenhouse builder, greenhouse grower, etc.);

Knowledge of Venlo greenhouse structures required;

Prior experience in technical sales and/or project management strongly preferred;

Valid driver’s license and passport, with the ability to travel within Canada and the US;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Technical aptitude to read/interpret engineering drawings;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
- General proficiency in CRM software.
