Sales Support Specialist – Westbrook Greenhouses Limited
Westbrook Greenhouses Ltd. has two fully automated greenhouses with almost 1,000,000 square feet of combined greenhouse space. Westbrook is a large supplier of quality potted plants to the North American wholesale and retail mass market.
The Sales Support Specialist supports our Key Account Managers by coordinating customer orders from order entry through fulfillment and by providing exceptional customer service
Key Responsibilities

Confirms and enters customer purchase orders, maintaining order records in customer’s online portals as required;

Acts as the primary conduit between Key Account Managers and other Westbrook departments to:
– Ensure availability of outsourced (partner grower) product;
– Ensure availability of other materials required to fulfill customer orders (pot covers, sleeves, upgrades, etc.);
– Ensure timing and availability of Westbrook-grown product to fulfill customer orders;
– Collaborate dynamically with Production, Packaging and Transportation teams as needed to ensure customer orders are picked, packed and shipped on-time and in-full

Acts as a first point of contact with customers to follow up on outstanding purchase orders, respond to routine inquiries, etc.;

Works collaboratively with Key Account Managers to build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and quickly resolving time-sensitive issues (delivery date changes, pricing/item discrepancies, etc.);

Coordinates item set up/maintenance in customer portals (Retail Link, iTrade etc.);

Acts as ERP system superuser within Sales function:
– Acts as the first point of contact for any Sales-related questions or feedback around ERP systems/processes;
– Provides feedback to Finance, Sales Operations re: opportunities to improve/optimize ERP usage;

Supports Key Account Managers, Sales Operations Manager by analyzing sales and shipment data, preparing proposals and presentations, etc.;

Meets regularly with Key Account Managers to review current/upcoming orders and provide status updates.
Qualifications

Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field;

3+ years’ experience in a sales support/coordination role;

Prior experience dealing with mass market retailer/customer portals strongly preferred;

Prior floral industry experience an asset.

High degree of proficiency with ERP systems (MS D365/Business Central preferred);

Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
