We are a proud multi-generation family-owned business, based on a philosophy of best practice family ownership augmented by non-family and family professional leadership and governance.
Our shareholders include members of the third generation: Will Vermeer, Josh Vermeer, Chris Heuving, Nick Vermeer; Second generation: Ian Vermeer and Dave Vermeer; first generation (patriarch): William Vermeer Sr.
We strongly believe in the best practice governance through an active board of directors comprised of non-family business leaders and multi-generation family members. Our directors ( Janice Locke, Ian Vermeer, Dave Vermeer, Will Vermeer, and Chris Heuving) bring industry leadership in our core markets and products as well as best practice governance and strategy.

Ian Vermeer is President and CEO of the Westbrook Group of Companies.
Ray Bryer, Chris Heuving, Will Vermeer and Nick Vermeer are Divisional Presidents and CEO’s of Westbrook Systems, Westbrook Greenhouses, Westbrook Trailers and The Brook, respectively.
Our officers bring extraordinary leadership in the operation of our divisions in accordance with our strategic goals and direction.
Our People
Len has been a valued member of Westbrook Greenhouse Systems for 23 years. After 11 years as a greenhouse builder, he brought his hands-on experience into the office, where he supports builders and creates detailed greenhouse drawings. His deep industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and patience make him an invaluable team member and mentor.
Len embodies Westbrook’s values through his commitment to our processes, clear communication, curiosity, and passion for continuous improvement. He demonstrates courage by advocating for customers, collaboration by working across teams, and innovation by finding practical solutions. We thank Len for his contributions and for the way he brings our values to life every day!
Having the opportunity to build Westbrook Systems greenhouse structures for 11 years, I knew the quality and service were second to none… When I decided to hang up my tool belt, my first choice was to join the team that had provided me with that service for over a decade.
